Dumpster Trailer Rental or Full Junk Removal: Which One Do You Need?
I run one trailer, and you can either rent it and do the loading or have me clear the lot. Here's how to choose between the two for your Denver metro job.
Same trailer. Different plan.
I'm Rob, the owner of Bob's Round Up. I answer the phone, quote the job, and show up with my truck and trailer. I offer that trailer both ways: rent it and fill it yourself, or book me to load the junk and haul it away.
The trailer doesn't change. Who does the loading and how long you have, that's the difference. Before you choose, think about whether you're still sorting through things or already looking at a pile you want gone.
Renting the trailer
Renting means I provide the trailer and you do the loading. You work through your pile at your own pace during the rental, instead of having me clear it in one visit.
It's $280 a day for the first 24 hours. Need longer? Tell me how long you're planning to use it and I'll quote the time beyond that.
This suits a job you're working through over a day. Sort what you're keeping, load what you're not, and keep going at a pace that works for you. Just be honest with yourself about the carrying. That part is yours.
Full junk removal
I turn up with my truck and trailer, load the junk, sweep up, and haul it away. You tell me what stays and what goes. I take care of getting the pile into the trailer.
A full trailer load is $650 and up with me doing the work. You don't need a full load to ask for a pickup. Junk removal pricing is based on how much space your load takes up, so send me a photo and I'll quote your pile.
It doesn't all have to be waiting at the curb. I can bring it out of a garage, basement, shed, or backyard. Heavy furniture and awkward pieces are a good reason to ask me to handle the loading rather than plan on carrying them yourself.
Which one suits your job?
Neither option wins every time. It comes down to how you want to spend the day and who's going to carry the pile.
Rent when you're working through it
You're sorting as you go, you can do the lifting, and you want to control the pace over the day. The trailer gives you somewhere to put the things you've decided are going.
That makes sense when the loading is work you're happy to take on. It makes less sense when half the pile is something you don't want to carry.
Book removal when you're done with it
Want it gone today rather than a day spent sorting? Full removal is the service to ask about. Tell me your deadline when you request a quote.
It's also the better fit for heavy or awkward items, or when you'd rather not spend the day carrying things. I do the loading, then the pile leaves with me.
Show me the pile
Send a couple of photos and tell me whether you're planning to load it yourself. We can start there.
It works for businesses too
Cardboard, pallets, wood, and remodel leftovers. I handle those for businesses too. The choice between rental and removal is the same.
Rent the trailer when you want to load it as you work. Book full junk removal when the pile is ready and you'd rather have me clear it.
Tell me what the material is, where it's sitting, and whether you want to do the loading. A few photos help me quote the right job.
Cardboard and bagged waste, loaded up.
What it costs
These are different services, not two prices for the same work. Rental means you load it. Full removal means I do.
Dumpster trailer rental
You load it at your own pace during the rental.
$280 a day for the first 24 hours, then quoted. Tell me how long you need it when you ask for your price.
Full junk removal
I load it and haul it away.
A full trailer load is $650 and up. Junk removal pricing is based on how much space the load takes up in the trailer.
A few things to mention in your quote
Tires are $6 each. Concrete is priced separately because it's heavier. Tell me about either before we work out your price.
Curbside loads are usually a better price. They are quicker to load. Put it on the curb, we'll round it up. That's an option for full junk removal, not a requirement.
How to ask for either one
The quote form has a service dropdown labeled What do you need? Choose Dumpster trailer rental to load it yourself, or Junk removal or curbside pickup to have me handle the job.
Add your city or ZIP, a description of the pile, and a couple of photos. For rental, tell me how long you need the trailer. For removal, tell me where the junk is sitting and when you'd like it gone.
Still deciding? Choose Not sure yet, need advice. You can also call or text 720-669-0500, or email bobsroundup.co@gmail.com. Either way, you're talking to me.

A quote for your actual job
A photo of the pile tells me more than a guess. Include anything heavy or awkward, and say whether you're doing the loading or leaving it to me.
- Choose rental or removal. Both are in the service dropdown.
- Tell me your timing. How long you need it, or when you'd like the pile gone.
- Not sure? Ask. That's what the advice option is for.
